The founders Rossana Piana and Riccardo Volpe opened their first business after about ten years of training and experience in the field of pastry and baking.

In 1988 burn the family business “Il Germoglio” Artigianal Bakery and pastry in the Centre of Acqui Terme. The choice of high quality raw materials combined with the production capacity we have gained over the years allowed the business to expand. The volumes are increasing, but the care and craftsmanship continue to be the strengths of the quality of their products. In 2000 the small business becomes company taking the name “Il Germoglio dei Sapori”, Grissinificio and Pastry. The flagship products are the bread sticks called “Acquolìni” with seven varieties, while confectionery Baci di Dama, Kifferi and the Brutti e Buoni, but there is always the passion in research and production of new products.
